OHM CW-26

The OHM CW-26 wide dispersion loudspeaker is a compact arrayable passive two way loudspeaker. It is a specialised solution for applications where a wide and constant horizontal coverage is required.

This sturdy but unobtrusive wooden enclosure gives an open and naturally well balanced sound. The speaker comes standard in black or white and upon request is available in various colours.

The low frequency range can easily be extended, for example, with the CS-208 or CS-15 subwoofer giving full range performance and improved clarity with more punch when improved system performance is required.

Using dedicated OHM mounting hardware for the single cabinet or the arrays allows quick and easy installation.

OHM CW-26 utilises dual custom designed 6″ drivers comprising of 4 layer sandwich 35 mm voice coils with true piston cone for the low frequency reproduction. To achieve 120 x 40 degree high frequency dispersion a 1″ compression driver, with a 44 mm voice coil, mounted on a difraction horn is used. The internal phase aligned crossover network incorporates an impedance correction circuit which stabalises the crossover functions to minimise distortion.

Carefully engineered crossover point along with custom designed low frequency drivers and diffraction horn gives a true and constant wide dispersion coverage even at the upper operating range, eliminating lobing which is common in this type of design.

Several mounting points in this wooden enclosure gives a multitude of installation options. These include wall or ceiling mounting with the ohm cradle, arraying up to 4 units with side plates, and omni point for pole or truss mounting. The rear mounted backplate has two speakon connectors aligned at 45 degrees and recessed to minimise the gap between the cabinet and the wall when installed.
