OHM BRW-28A

OHM’s BRW-28A speaker is specifically designed for wide angle applications. It has been designed with a horizontal dispersion of 160° achieved by an OHM engineered diffraction horn design.

Designed with two OHM 8” proprietary bass drivers positioned off axis plus a diffraction horn mounted 1” High frequency driver, achieving 160 degrees dispersion over the full 55 Hz to 26 kHz frequency range of the product while maintaining 131 dB SPL.

Using two high-power 500 w and 150 w Class D amplifiers with integrated DSP, the self-powered cabinet has dedicated amplification for each component, removing crossover distortion and increasing audio quality. Full FIR filtering achieves further detail and definition with a factory calibrated, pre-set coupled with RMS and Peak limiters ensure the drivers stay within safe parameters.

The BRW-28A speaker is both small and light, and with integrated handle, top hat and cradle fittings, is ideal for either portable or fixed installation use.

The discreet design with reticulated foam front and acrylic textured paint finish and multiple integrated fixing points achieves a high class look suitable for any application.

Sharing voicing characteristics with the rest of the BR series allows them to be used simultaneously, keeping a consistent tone. These cabinets excel where wide coverage is essential from near field applications such as under balcony and front fill deployment.

Mounting options include integrated aluminium top-hat and horizontal cradle fixing points for use with the BRWC-28. Other fixings can be used with this cabinet such as the fixed large wall bracket (LWB) and pan and tilt wall bracket (LWB-PT).

The rear connection plate has two input and two link XLR connectors and a powerCON^® TRUE1 input and link fitted as standard.
